Naran is a medium sized town in upper Kaghan Valley in Mansehra District of KPK. It is located 119 kilometers from Mansehra city at the altitude of 2,409 meters. It is located 70 kilometers from Babusar Top. Naran is last town in Manshera and has link to Babusar Top which is main point in coming days for CPEC(China Pakistan Economic Corridor ) that will boost economic as well as tourism activities in Naran as well as Whole Pakistan. Kaghan Valley is an alpine-climate valley and tourists from across the country come to visit this place. Lulusar Lake, at 3,410 m  is the primary headwaters of the Kunhar River. It flows southwest through the entire length of Kaghan Valley passing Jalkhand, Naran, Kaghan Jared, Paras and Balakot until its confluence with the Jehlum River.
